Scenic Barns
As we made our way down snowy roads, the barns nestled along the wooded landscape looked so warm and inviting, and as we drove, we came across a few featuring horses with “coats” enjoying the cool brisk air. At Flanders Nature Center I was able to walk through the snow covered fields of the farm to the North Barn, and all around me was winter’s silence - an undisturbed quiet peacefulness - and just one horse, looking back at me, keeping warm in the stable.
Winter always holds a special charm throughout Connecticut’s country roads. Sightseeing the country side during this time has always been especially gratifying. Please feel free to view my gallery, I hope you enjoy!
